Golf Industry Central has launched its specialist golf marketing arm, Golf Marketing Central, expanding its marketing services to claim the title of the only full service golf marketing company in Australasia.

Golf Industry Central was established in 2008 by Operations and Marketing Specialist Mike Orloff with the initial purpose of connecting all parts of the industry with news, jobs and golf related information.

Golf Marketing Central will now operate to assist businesses in the Australian, Asian and New Zealand golf industries find opportunities to grow their golf market share with creative and timely marketing strategies and campaigns. From conception to completion, Golf Marketing Central can become part of your marketing team to help plan and execute your next golf marketing project or advertising campaign.

According to Mr Orloff, he discovered a real demand for golf businesses needing assistance not just with marketing strategies but also with ongoing support services such as graphic design, PR, advertising and printing needs.

“The industry is crying out for marketing support that is specific to golf. We are perfectly placed to assist them with this as I have specialised in growing golf businesses for my entire career and have been behind many successful golf marketing campaigns. I understand what needs to occur at the operational level as well as the marketing level,” he said.

“We are the only organisation to provide all the marketing tools to help golf clubs achieve their operational goals, including brochures and newsletters, websites, promotional campaigns, and publicity,” he said. “We become your virtual marketing assistant if that is what you require.”

Mr Orloff, a US and Australian PGA Member, has marketed and managed various levels of facilities from two to five star quality for the past 22 years throughout Australia and the USA.

An innovative and experienced golf marketer, Mr Orloff was hand-picked by American Golf Corporation, the largest golf management company in the year 2000, to improve the performance of its first Australian courses on the Gold Coast.

After arriving in Australia, Mr Orloff reviewed the local golf industry, and subsequently launched a market-leading product that changed how golf was played at two of the largest golf clubs on the Gold Coast – Robina Woods and Paradise Springs (now Palmer Gold Coast and Palmer Colonial).

Plans for Golf Marketing Central’s future, besides the review and support services on offer, are a series of new initiatives to directly work with clubs, suppliers and organisations, and are expected to be introduced by mid-2013.
